Tsimane has a privileged geographical location due to its proximity to the headwaters of most of the rivers in the Moseten mountain chain. With the new combined Lodge Heli Fishing Program, our guests will have the opportunity to fish in all these wild, untouched waters seldom seen by human beings, for large dorado, pacú, and yatorana, in both incomparable quantity and quality.
The new Program’s capacity is for 8 (eight) anglers per week if you do a 6-day full heli fishing program, but you can do also a 3-day heli fishing program, and 3 days of the regular fishing program in that case price would be 12,500 USD + fees, and in that case, we can extend up to 12 anglers, all in single rooms and double fishing, starting the week on Saturday at Pluma Lodge, all the anglers will fish in the untouched and the remote headwaters of Pluma & Sécure along the fishing week and the regular waters of Pluma if you do the 3 days heli and 3 days regular.
The season starts in late June / early July and ends in late October. We will operate with two helicopters (one per lodge), both Robinson R44 RAVEN II with a capacity for a pilot plus three passengers (two anglers + one guide). Each day, the helicopters will take pairs of anglers with their guides to different spots up in the high variety of unspoiled headwaters around Pluma and Secure lodges. Our guides will take lunch and cold beverages for the fishing day in a Yeti cooler backpack, and at approximately 5 PM the helicopters will pick the groups up and return to the lodges. Guides will have satellite communication to ensure permanent contact with the helicopter pilots and the lodges.
The Pluma Lodge Heli Program provides a total of nine nights: two nights at a five-star hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (the first night upon arrival, and the second upon your coming back from Tsimane), and seven nights in an all-inclusive service at Pluma lodge, this includes six days of heli-fishing in all the remote headwaters.
