A Week Made for Sight-Fishing

Week 8 brought warm temperatures, plenty of sunshine, and excellent water clarity to Pluma Lodge.

With guests from South Africa and the United States, conditions remained favorable throughout the week and allowed anglers to take advantage of some of the most productive visual fishing situations the river had to offer.

A large pacú in fast water provided another highlight of the week.

The fish took a dry fly with an impressive surface eat, adding a different kind of challenge to the week’s dorado fishing and demonstrating the variety these waters can offer when conditions are right.
